Closure of Public Comment Period for All Sections of VSB 14
The public comment period for all Sections of Version 2 of the National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification (VSB 14) has now closed.
The Australian Motor Vehicle Certification Board Working Party (AMVCB WP) is currently in the process of evaluating comments and wishes to thank all those who took the time to submit comments and suggestions. Although the initial public comment period officially ended on 30 April 2009, comments were accepted as late as 12 June 2009. The public comment period for the Electric Drive Guidelines closed on 26 September 2009.
Comments and suggestions may still be forwarded to Working Party members, although these are now more likely to be included in future versions of the document.
The original version of VSB 14 is still currently available on the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government website. www.infrastructure.gov.au
